Okay so everyone is using AI, should I jump on the bandwagon or is it going to jump the shark?

First off, let’s clear this up, there is no right or wrong here, if AI is right for you and you have a clear use case for it then absolutely. AI is certainly not the be-all end-all though, AI is a tool that can be used in many different ways to make our daily lives easier and make repetitive tasks go faster such as scheduling and even emails. While these are some of the smaller use cases others are using it to make web apps that predict certain data about a consumer such as what they are most likely to buy or robots that can scour through data.

Most companies today are using AI and you don’t even realize it, some of the phone calls nowadays are AI and you can hardly tell that you are not talking to a real person, it’s in almost every facet of our world now and it’s here to stay. This being said we are honestly at the infancy of AI still as far as consumers go, we use it mostly for repetitive tasks and to cut down on time in other areas of our businesses, but there are so many more uses for AI.

So ask yourself:

  • What are your business dreams and your purpose? How would AI align with my business goals and help me to far exceed them?
  • Do I have the funds to implement AI in my business? AI can be an investment, but it can pay off big in the long-term.
  • Are you okay with some of the concerns AI brings to privacy ad ethics? Even though it is a tool to help, it can sometimes lead to inaccuracies and discrimination as well as privacy concerns if not used in the right manner. As with all parts of your business, you have to be responsible and maintain it to make sure people’s privacy is secure.
  • Do you have all of your data ready? If not it is best to get all of your data ready if you are going to implement AI into your data flow, this could be for any info you have for your business such as orders, lead generation data, any excel data that can be uploaded, etc.

As with all things related to your business, research, research, research, it’s the best way to make sure any solution is right for you. The AI realm is vast and it can be very confusing if you are just getting started in it, we will help you on that path and give you a few places to get started.
