The Discount Dilemma: To Offer or Not to Offer?

Most businesses grapple with the seemingly opposing views on discounts: should we use them to attract hesitant customers, or do they cheapen our image and deter ideal clients? The answer, like many things in business, isn’t always black and white. It depends on your specific situation and market. For startups and young businesses: Imagine your discount as a launchpad, propelling you towards initial liftoff. Attract early adopters eager to explore your offering at a reduced price. This not only generates crucial revenue but also provides invaluable customer data. Analyze their buying behavior, preferences, and feedback to refine your product or service and identify your ideal customer profile. Don’t just toss out generic discounts; implement targeted promotions designed to reach specific customer segments. For example, offer a student discount to tap into a budget-conscious demographic or a referral discount to incentivize word-of-mouth marketing. Remember, limited-time offers create a sense of urgency and prevent discounts from becoming the norm. For established businesses: For you, established players in the market, discounts might not be the golden ticket. Think beyond price cuts and instead, focus on crafting exclusivity and premium value. Imagine offering early access to new products or services, like a VIP preview before the official launch. This positions your brand as cutting-edge and rewards loyal customers with a taste of the future. Consider personalized consultations or customization options – tailor your offering to individual needs, demonstrating attentiveness and exceeding expectations. Don’t underestimate the power of priority customer support; dedicate a dedicated line or express service for your most valued clientele, reinforcing their importance and fostering lasting loyalty. Remember: Discounts are just one tool in your marketing arsenal. Use them judiciously, understanding their impact on both customer acquisition and brand perception. Ultimately, the goal is to create value and build lasting relationships with your target audience.

How to stay motivated in your business…. Use your why!

Imagine juggling flaming chainsaws while blindfolded… that’s how it feels to stay focused amid today’s wildfire of distractions, whether it be war, politics, inflation, relationships, etc. This list could go on and on, but let’s stop thinking about these things for even just a few minutes, let us take a deep breath together and recollect ourselves. Let’s get to the driving force of your business, the “Why”, you have to reconnect with your “Why” to move forward. The “Why”: Your “why” is your fuel, your compass, your anchor in the storm. It’s the reason you wake up before the sun and grind long after it sets. It’s the spark that ignites your creativity and propels you through challenges. But amidst the daily grind of to-do lists and hustle, that spark can sometimes get buried under a pile of paperwork and unanswered emails. Remember your purpose: What initially sparked your entrepreneurial journey? Was it solving a problem, creating something meaningful, or achieving financial freedom? Revisit your core values and remind yourself why you started this crazy ride. Vision and goals: Keep your vision for the future clear and revisit your long-term goals regularly. Break them down into smaller, achievable milestones to stay focused and celebrate each step forward. Talk to the people who believe in you. Your family, friends, and mentors can all help you remember your “why.” They can remind you of your strengths and your potential. Look for inspiration. Read stories about other entrepreneurs who have overcome challenges. Watch documentaries about people who have made a difference in the world. Do something that makes you happy. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of your business and do something that you enjoy. This will help you recharge your batteries and reconnect with your passion. I’ve been there too, I started a business with this burning vision of empowering others, of being this lighthouse navigating them towards fulfilling their own “why.” Then, somewhere along the way, the day-to-day churn sucked me in. Short-term goals became the siren song, luring me off course. Bills, numbers, metrics – they all started drowning out the deeper purpose, the reason I jumped into this crazy world of entrepreneurship in the first place. It felt like I was piloting a plane with smoke alarms blaring, the ground rushing up to meet me. But that’s the thing, sometimes you have to nosedive before you remember to pull up. My near-crash woke me up. I looked around at the landscape below, a blur of transactions and spreadsheets, and realized it wasn’t the one I’d set out to see. So, I’m course-correcting. Rebooting the navigation system. Dusting off that original blueprint, the one with the bold mission painted across it. Because helping others find their “why,” that’s still what lights my spark, what makes the engine roar. And let me tell you, when you’re guiding someone else towards their own north star, it’s like finding your own again, only brighter. It’s not easy, this recalibration. But every time I connect with an entrepreneur, feel their own passion ignite, it’s a shot of fuel straight to my soul. It’s like we’re all in this caravan, navigating this wild terrain together, each with our own compass, but all headed towards a brighter horizon. So, yeah, I lost my “why” for a while. But the beauty is, you can always find it again. It’s like a buried treasure, just waiting to be unearthed. And when you do, that’s when the journey truly begins. Stay On Track: Remember, getting back on track is not about erasing the detour, but about incorporating the lessons learned and moving forward with renewed conviction. Your “why” is the anchor that keeps you grounded, the compass that guides you through storms, and the fuel that propels you towards a truly fulfilling journey. So, go forth, reignite your fire, and keep climbing towards that breathtaking vista! I believe in you and your ability to make a real difference. Now go out there and show the world the power of a motivated life!

Getting the Word Out: Top 5 Ways to Spread the Word about Your Website

Hey there, fellow digital explorer! So, you’ve got yourself a fantastic website, huh? That’s awesome! But hold on a sec – just having a website isn’t quite enough to make it big in the online jungle. You need to let the world know about it! That’s where promotion comes in. Let’s dive into five super cool strategies to give your website the spotlight it deserves.                             1. SEO Magic: Making Google Your BFF Alright, imagine this: you want your website to show up when people search for stuff on Google, right? That’s where Search Engine Optimization (SEO) comes into play. Basically, you make your website Google-friendly by sprinkling in keywords that match what people are looking for. Also, give your website a neat and tidy structure, kind of like organizing your room. Oh, and don’t forget to get some friends (backlinks) to vouch for your site – Google loves that!           2. Social Media Shenanigans: Let’s Get Chatty Social media – ever heard of it? I bet you have! Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are like massive digital hangout spots. You’ve gotta be there, mingling with the cool kids (your audience, duh!). Share interesting stuff, memes, videos – anything that makes your peeps go “Wow, this is awesome!” Engage with them, reply to comments, and show your human side. And hey, if you wanna speed things up, you can toss a coin (money) and get your posts seen by even more peeps! 3. Content Kingdom: Where Cool Stuff Lives Let’s talk about something awesome: content. People love valuable stuff – blog posts, videos, those snazzy infographics. Create content that tickles your audience’s brain cells. Share tips, stories, or even a funny cat video (if it’s relevant, of course!). Keep doing this regularly, and you’ll have a fan club before you know it. Oh, and don’t be shy – share your content everywhere you can, like a trail of breadcrumbs leading to your website. 4. Hanging with the Cool Kids: Influencers! You know those folks who seem to know everyone and have a gazillion followers? Yep, influencers! Partner up with them. It’s like borrowing their megaphone to shout about your website. They’ll talk about your site to their buddies (fans), and some of them will come visit. It’s like getting a recommendation from the popular kids in school – instant street cred! 5. The Quick Fix: Ads that Pop Okay, so you want results pronto? Pay-Per-Click (PPC) ads are like your VIP tickets to the front of the line. You create ads, and when someone clicks, you pay. Simple, right? These ads show up when people search for certain words, like a genie granting wishes. Just make sure your ad is catchy, your keywords are on point, and your website is ready to welcome your new visitors with open arms. Final Thoughts: Go Big or Go Home So, there you have it – five killer ways to give your website the spotlight it deserves. But remember, it’s not about picking just one strategy; it’s like having a toolbox with different tools. Mix and match these strategies, and watch your website shine like a supernova in the digital galaxy. Keep learning, keep adapting, and keep rocking the online world!

One of the cons to this program is they have fairly low commisions compared to other affiliate programs but you have the benefit of Amazon being well known. 3. Become a Virtual Assistant  If you are good at doing tasks such as data entry, setting up an email list, creating a calender of events and plans, word processing/transcribing etc, then being a virtual assistant might be right up your alley. There are several services that you can signup for, my favorite is Time etc. With Time Etc. \, you will need at least 5 years of relevant experience as a virtual assitant or work that you have done such as social media and content marketing, sales administration, marketing administration, research etc. This is a great way to be able to run a business on the road as well. 4. CTFO If you are at all interested in sales, especially products that sell themselves then CTFO might be for you, I am not going to lie to you this is an MLM (yes I know the stigma that MLM’s get). CTFO is not like most MLM’s because it is absolutely free to join and start selling, you get your own back office and websites to share completely free. you also get wholesale products which is awesome. My favorite is Systeme.io where you can create a blog, start a course, start and they have a small affiliate network themselves as well as funnels and email marketing. This is a free service that of course has a paid plan but with their free options you can do just about anything. Once you start your blog you can write about any niche such as travel, when you have your niche look for affiliates that match your niche or are close. With travel there are flight affiliates, hotel affiliates, cruise affiliates, luggage affiliates and much more. Bonus #1 Create Courses and/or Ebooks With Systeme.io you can create your own courses for free. You could start a course from your own knowledgebase or you can go somewhere like IDplr (which has some free plr but has access to Lifetime Gold for $79 for a limited time) or BuyQualityPLR which has some free plr (Private Label Rights) that you can turn into a course or ebook etc. Check the rights that each one has to see if you can resell them, change the graphics, change the content or rebrand with your name. To turn most of these into courses it will take some work but be vigilant. Most of the PLR sites have their own training which will help to convert plr into an Ebook or course or newsletter series, etc. If you would be willing to pay $7 you can gain access to help you in your journey to selling your next course up to $997, just click here. Most of the affiliates that you can sign up for are going to be on affiliate networks such as ShareASale, Commision Junction, JVZoo, Clickbank, Impact, etc. Some of them have an application review process (usually 1-3 days) before you can start applying to affiliates on their network. Be patient, and don’t give up the road ahead will be tough and it will take work but you can do it.
